Thread: Ipod touch using version 2 crashes Windows PC

Can anyone help please. I upgraded my touch to the version 2 iphone software and now when I connect to my Windows XP SP2 PC the PC crashes. (Blue screen and message about protecting the pc)

I took the touch back to my dealer who replaced it. everything worked perfectly on the new touch until I upgraded it to version 2. Again the pc crashes everytime.

Have tried all the obvious things like uninstalling iTunes and all the associated Apple components off the PC and re-installing to no avail

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated

Wow I have never heard of this problem...almost seems like it is a problem with the computer, not the iPod.

never heard of a problem like this i would say the installation/download was corrupted i would contact apple about this problem

hmm how strange, i havnt heard of this before either. il surf the web and try and find a solutionn

I's assuming you have a wireless router. Sometimes my router needs to be restarted for it to work. Give that a try... idk what else to do.
