Thread: Question about Apps and Itunes

Hi when go on my computer and I know you can sync your apps with Itunes can I choose which Apps I want to have on my ipod touch or do I have keep all the ones I download on the ipod touch. Can I take one off and put it back on later?

No you cant not as far as i know.

I thought you can, but I might be wrong. If it's a free app then you can just download it again later anyway.
I think all downloads though (free & payware) are stored in your Itunes program under "downloads", in which case you could add them back into your Ipod touch later.

Update:

I have checked, & I was correct.
I have just connected my Ipod to my pc using Itunes, then selected the applications tab (after selecting my Ipod) Next, a long, long list of apps appeared. Many of which I deleted from my Ipod ages ago.The ones currently installed in the ipod have a tick against them. There are many apps without a tick, & these are the apps I have previossly downloaded & then deleted.
I put a tick next to a deleted app, & it was instantly reinstalled into my Ipod, without me having to download it again from Itunes.
