Thread: Account info?

I just got an ipod and so I've been trying to create an account but it asks for billing info, is there anyway to do download the free apps without supplying card info? I've been victim of online theft before and I think it is a little sketchy even tho they say they won't charge you until you buy something

Yes make a new account and choose at billing methode for 'None', then You can get free Apps and games in the App Store.
If You want to buy something later You can buy iTunes Cards in stores or online to pay with.

The problem is that I do not see that option anywhere, I have tried to open an account the way apple says, trying to get a free app but still I dont see the "None" option anywhere
