    Default iPod FM Transmitter

I've just recently recieved an iPod FM transmitter for Christmas and would recommend it to anyone!

It is a dock that plugs into the cigarette lighter in your car. It then transmits the audio output to 4 different radio frequences that you can pick up via your in car radio, which in turn obviously plays through your car speakers and charges your iPod in the process.

You can find it here.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...s-21/ref=nosim
    iPod Touch Stats: Audio - 2.22GB, Video - 9.7MB, Photos - 25.2MB, Other 22.8MB, Free Space - 5GB

That is pretty neat. FM transmitters are great for people who don't have auxilliary plugs in their car radios. So how is the sound quality of the transmitter?

If there is no other radio station on that particular frequency then it is great quality. If there is a radio station on there then it over-rides it but when it is in between songs on your iPod you can hear the exsisting radio station coming through.

The transmitter lets you select four different frequences so it should never be a problem. I agree the lack of AUX jacks in the cars I use meant the FM transmitter was my only option.

Yea before I drove, my mom's car didn't have an aux jack so I had to purchase an FM trans for my iPod mini. But now my car has an Aux input so I use that. It seems to be more clear than the FM transmitter, but the FM transmitters do seem to work well enough.
