Recently purchased an Apple iPod Touch...reading through the instruction manual...has a section about "Carrying iPod: iPod contains sensitive components. Do not bend, drop, or crush iPod. If you are concerned about scratching iPod, you can use one of the many cases sold separately" However, as many people have pointed out, there are NO cases for sale. Apple kept this thing so secret that all the case manufacturers are scrambling to get cases to market.
Does that say that anyone who scratches their iPod can make the case (i love puns) that Apple should replace it free, as Apple did not provide the user any case for protection? I know it is kind of far fetched, but seems like a fun question.
Ok, if you count the "ipod socks" as a case, then you're right. That is the only case listed on the Apple website for ipod Touch. And most iPhone cases are too big for iPod.
