Thread: Are Apple computers compatable at all colleges?

I'm thinkin' of getting a MacBook for college, but will I have trouble with it? Can I download all the same files as my peers? Use the same programs that would be needed for projects? Anyone had problems? Also, I've been a Windows user my whole life, should I switch, would it be hard?

I'd consult the school directly, but I'm not sure where I'm going, and I'm planning on transferring too. Thanks.

Hi, since u r not sure then don't get a Mac. Most colleges still just offer Windows software. OS X isn't hard at all though. Maybe once u r sure to which college u go to then just consult them, but still most colleges require Windows. You could always install Windows on a Mac. I hope I helped.
