Are Apple computers worth it?

I've always had a PC, and this Christmas I'm looking at getting some sort of Apple desktop or laptop. Is it really worth the extra money?

they are worth it if like macs

compared to windows they have extremely limited software, hardware which is compatible

they are not as stable as everyone makes out to be

and for the price of a mac your can get a extremely powerful pc

but have great software what is on the mac

No, programs dont work with it, they are very confusing for XP users.. My friend and I got New apple Laptops, we wish we had our old ones back. the way i see it is that the only thing better is that they cant get viruses.. very dissapointing. Just get a good anti-virus program and stick with a PC

Mac Mouse has one button
PC mouse has 2,3,4,5

Mac program crash = little spinny beach ball
PC program crash = BSOD (Blue screen of death)

PC uninstall = control panel -> add/remove -> uninstall -> are you sure? -> OK
Mac uninstall - Trashcan

Macs look cool
Pc's look like box-shaped Daleks

PC can play - any computer game available
Mac can play 'the sims'

PC user, "How many times have you been infected this year"
Mac User, "Whats a virus?"

Leopard - installs vista, supported by apple
PC - get patch, download *.file, have working pc with tiger handy, run crashy version of Leopard

Which CEO is sexier - Steve Jobs or Bill Gates?

I think it's up to your purpose of using a laptop or computer. My brother have both mac and vis in his macbook.Anyway, mac is sexier to me hehe

macs offer no custom ability
no upgrading hardware
correct me if im wrong but opening the the computer breaks the warranty
goes out of date in about 2 years
all around bad computer

DO NOT GET A MAC. Their over priced, they have the same components of of much cheaper PCs, their commercials con you into getting a Mac by falsely accusing Windows having security holes, glitches, and un-compatibility. When I have 2 computers running Windows Vista perfectly. Also, you cannot customize or upgrade Macs at all. But don't get me wrong, I don't hate Apple entirely, just the Macs.

Remember Once You Go Mac, You Never Go Back... Cause You Cant Afford It. lol

OSX is a superior operating system my friends, last year there were 2,000 viruses for PC's and NONEEEE for macs

sure they are expensive but thats for a reason, if you dont believe in the price then dont get one, simple as that lol

Of course MACS are better than pc!!!! A MILLION TIMES BETTER!!!
