I have my iPod touch, Outlook and my one computer synced perfectly.
Now I want to sync my ipod to my second computer so Outlook and iTunes are exactly the same. When I hook up the ipod to the second computer (under the Summary tab "Manually manage...box checked) I have a "Sync" option. But when I click on "Info" tab and check sync Contacts, etc I get an "Apply" button instead of "Sync". Want to make sure I don't make any changes to the iPod. What should I do to sync to the second computer? Last edited by thewolfe; 02-07-2010 at 09:40 PM. |

Sync with more computers give a problem, because it's copy protected.
Maybe this can help You; iPhone and iPod touch: Issues syncing content with multiple computers using iTunes |

Got the following. What do you think>?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------..My daughter syncs two computers all the time. This is what we were told from the Itunes customer service: Itunes allows several computers (I forget how many exactly) to be authenticated to be used with your Itunes account. When that prompt comes up, tell it to authenticate the second computer. Then, when you buy or download anything (free or paid) from Itunes from one computer and want to sync to the second computer, choose the option to "transfer purchases" that will pop up and it will sync the second computer WITHOUT removing anything from the Ipod. If you have music from a CD on one computer.......just use the CD to put the music on the second computer. So long as you put the CD on BOTH computers, the Ipod will sync WITHOUT removing anything from the Ipod. Putting the CD on both computers is really not that much trouble......it's certainly less complicated than the instructions in the link posted above. |
