Thread: Can Touch be used for learning personal stuff

Hi Folks

Apologies if this in in the wrong forum.

Is it possible in some way to input your own personally made- up educational stuff. For instance if I was studying certain english words and their meanings, is there a way to use the IPOD Touch so that instead of the music I could hear my or a digital audible voice.

If not, do you know of any other way to do it by using ie dvd/cd's etc.

Of course. You can easily record your own voice (with microphone plugged in) & play it back when you want. See the 'voice memos' app, which is one of the default apps supplied with the Ipod.

That is great news-thanks very much.

Just use a free software like Audacity (search for it - it should be in the SourceForge library) to record whatever you want to read out loud, save to MP3 format, and add it to your iPod library.

You can also rip audio(voice) CD's with iTunes and put them on You iPod touch.
Or You can record your Voice on pc and put it on your iPod touch.
