    Default VoIP

I am using a WiFi hotspot to connect to the internet on the iPod and use a VoIP service. I need to be online all the time and the hotspot I use has a "no activity" cutout after 10 minutes so I loose my incoming telephone calls on the iPod.
Is there and App that anybody knows that will ping or some other type of connection, the Mail app that comes with the iPod has the lowest setting at 15 minutes, I could do with every couple of minutes or so then the iPod stays connected to the internet.

Thanks for any relpies in advance

    Cheers ........................ Gerry N

VoIP services convert your voice into a digital signal that travels over the Internet. If you are calling a regular phone number, the signal is converted to a regular telephone signal before it reaches the destination. It allows you to make direct call fro your computer.
