Thread: iPod touch and iPhone?

So Is the new ipod touch out? I find it confusing that the ipod touch and the iphone look, almost 100% the same. Isn't it just that the ipod touch isnt a phone and it doesnt take pictures?The internet thing is beyond me. I'm amazed completly. Now when im listening to music i can check my myspace to.

They are the same thing!The only difference is that the iPod Touch doesn't have the phone capabilities that the iPhone has. So if you don't want to switch carriers, or love your current cellphone, you can purchase the iPod Touch instead and enjoy all the same features that the iPhone has.

yeah that is the main difference the i pod touch is lackin phone capabilities, i think now withthe revolution of the touch and the wireless abilityit has, we will start to see more small personal internet surfing devices, especially since wi-fi is so common these days. These little devices are very amazing... they just kepp getting better and better, to bad the i phone is locked into AT&T or i would be on my way to buying one.

Yea and as far as the internet goes, the touch only can use wifi, whereas the iphone can access the internet through a satellite any where in the world.

The Iphone is not a satellite phone. It connects to the net via regular cellphone networks, or with WiFi.
