I just buy ipod touch 8gb 3rd generation(written on receipt)

I want to jailbreak this ipod. I google about it. But I don't know about what firmware/version/anything like this my ipod use. So, I don't know which guide to follow.

I'm using window xp

Can someone help me?

Or anybody here has the same ipod as me and succeed jailbreak it?

hey man, go to blackra1n.com and download the version for your computer, either windows or mac. then, open up the blackra1n file and run it. wait for the photo on yur synced ipod touch to show a guy with ipod touches circling him. then you should be done!
