My advice, don't Jailbreak, it give a lot of problems!
One of them is if your touch go out, You have te reset it with iTunes and You will lose all.

Youtube "blackrain ipod touch 3G" I used the vid posted by bbsipodtouchhelp.

The whole process took less than 2 minutes, much easier than the jailbreak on 2G. I did mine a few months ago and it's been perfect. Do some research, there's a ton of info available.

No it's not True, everytime your iPod Goes off, You must do a whole reset and start all over again!

Sure when the ipod DIES from having no battery left then yeah, you MUST plug it in to start it up, but after that it is pie....

For those against jail breaking, they must be noobs.... Sure there can be memory leaks and what not but any hacker at heart doesn't see any problem backing up their shizz and doing it all over again; for fun too!

In all, jailbreak it if you want to, I did with my brand new 3g 64 touch and it runs flawlessly with Blackra1n......
