Thread: help needed!!!

here goes my prooblem.........i hav a touch 8 gb. its 1 yr old....can i update its softwre to the version 3.1 to play games in it? after updating will it support the voice recorder,games and other advanced applications?????????plzzzz help!

Yes You can update to the new 3.1 software and then You can use all the new features.

if i give the serial no. and the model no. ....can anyone tell me abt the gen of my touchpod?????? actually it belonged to my bro and now he gave me his touch and i'm not used to it...so.....though i thnk its 1g!!!!!!!

now plz tell me is it possible to get new applications after updating this touch to 3.1????????????

model no.- MA623LL = the iPod touch 8GB 1G(eneration).

version- 1.1.4(4A102) = the Software version, You must update to 3.1.3 as I write above so You can play the new games and programs.
