    Default Jailbreaking and restoring questions

I know about the benefits of jailbreaking an iPod touch. I have a secondhand iPod touch which is about a year old. Is there a failsafe method of jailbreaking an iPod touch? Also I have version 2.2.1 iPod touch, if I would have to restore it since I haven't updated my iPod and don't have the firmware on my computer would it revert back to it's current version or back to 1 point something?

That doesn't really help but thank you for at least posting something. Is anyone ever on this forum besides you and me?

No, I think we're lonely here
But I have used Jailbreak and have had a lot of problems, best way is to update your iPod touch with the new software, then it is working great!

Apple - iPod touch - Get great new features with the 3.1 software.

Is it basically this one in Dutch and are they active? If it is then I'll join via google translate and viewing the page in English.
