Thread: Please Help W/3.1.2. Firmware

Okay so I'm trying to jailbreak my Ipod Touch 2G with BlackRain. So the first thing that I need to do is update my firmware from 2.2.1 to 3.1.2. I downloaded the firmware from FelixBrunes and after I unzipped the file these are the files that popped up on my desktop.


The 3.1.2. ipsw file is no where to be found.

How can I update to 3.1.2?

you dont unzip them they are ipsw file you just select the file in itunes while holding Option on your kbd
