Thread: Ipod touch earphone jack?

ive 95% made up my mind with the decision of ipod touch
now i hear that the apple earphones are totally crap....
and i also hear that apple makes it so that u have to buy a special earphone with a smaller jack for the ipods...is this true? or is it just a regular earphone jack?
and another question is does the ipod touch keyboard support other languages where in my case, korean? i already know its not going to be...but i hear that this can be solved my jailbreaking...am i wrong?

As for the headphones, I have no problem with mine. They sound great. You can use any headphones with the Touch. The iphone on the other hand requires special headphones. I am not sure about the jailbreak.

i think that the apple ear buds are great but im sure that there are better sounding ear phones out there but im fine with mine 4 now

apple ones fall apart so u should buy some decent ones at some point. i recommend sony in-ear ones or skullcandy's smokin' buds

No all the ipods take a 3.5mm jack. So regular earphone/headphone size.

i'm using sennheiser PX-80..........its good and cheap than other sennheiser models...

This happened to one of my iPod Videos. When you plug and unplug things in the headphones jack it causes the metal plates in it to flatten out, thats why you can only get sound by moving it around. Best take it in and have it looked at for a possible replacement.
