Default What are the best earphones available?

I'm looking for a pair of earphones. I want ones that are sound isolating and comfortable. However, I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars. Any suggestions? Any experiences with earphones?

Thanks in advance.

Well do you want in ear earphones like earbuds, or actual head phones?

Default Best Ear Phone

So far I've tried around 10 ear phone and by far the Etymotic ER4p is the BEST, although It's a round US300. It's money well spent. Words of caution, you need to push in to your ear canal before the bass comes. Happy I-pod listening.

Yes, the iPod default headphones are good for the first week-ish, until you find better ones. The major problems with the default ones are they come apart easy (from my friend and my experience).

I will soon be making a headphone comparison chart for your liking!

Dustin, looking forward to seeing this chart. Should be a great guide for those looking to invest in some nice headphones.
