Thread: Question about iPhone?

I am an AT&T customer and am about to buy the iPhone but I DON'T want a data plan [therefore meaning I don't want to have to use Edge; I just want to use WiFi instead] but my question is how do I turn off Edge so I won't get charge?

Also, is it hard to do; will it mess up my phone?
