Thread: i pod pod cast syncing problems

Hi, I listen to pod casts a lot. My problem is when I have finished listening to a podcast and I delete it on my ipod touch. When I sync my ipod to i tunes the podcast remains in i tunes and gets re synced to my touch. I now have to manually remove the pod casts I have listened to from i tunes before syncing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do not delete the podcasts from the ipod when you have listened to them, then when you next sync, you can set iTunes to automatically just sync all unlistened/viewed podcasts. It will then delete all the podcasts you have finished with.
By deleting them form your iPod first Itunes thinks you have not seen them yet.

I’ve tried turning off podcast syncing, syncing, then turning it back on. When I saw the “include” podcasts in these playlists” section of the ipod settings tab, I thought that was the solution, but alas no luck.
