Thread: can't get itunes to work correctly

I've been thinking of buying a ipod so I downloaded itunes to see what it was like. When I click on file then click add folder to library it seems to copy my mp3's but it copies everything twice. I also noticed the files are not converted to AAC. When I click the "Get info" it states format is MPEG-1,Layer3. HELP!!!!

WOW I guess no one can figure it out. Looks like I will go with another brand. Thanks.
