No official word yet on next gen iPods. If they do update the Touch, Im assuming they will add more memory (32gb version) and maybe give it a different shell.

And as for jailbreaking, just do it. Its not going to mess anything up, and you can always restore it back to factory settings.

The touch beats the archos. The archos is HUGE compared to the Touch and barely fits in a pocket. Also, when the archos uses wifi, the battery only lasts 30 min! The touch can go several hours with wifi. Yes, the archos has a few more features, but you also have to pay for a lot of those features. Touch wins hands down.
haha I just posted the same thing on your other thread, but w/e.

Also, I thought you might find this link useful. While I disagree with their results, they cover pretty much everything there is to compare the two products. In the end, the decision is really up to you though. Good luck!

I have heard of many people claming it works, but I am not 100%sure. If I remember correctly, you have to do certain promotions and complete certain offers, and I think all of them cost at least some money. But again, I am not positive on this and after I do some research on this, I will report back to you.

Alright I just briefly visited the site and it does seem to be legit. Basically you sign up for the site and you have two options. One is to refer people to the site to get them to sign up. After so many referrals, you get your iPod. The other option is a point system, where you have to complete certain offers from the site's advertisers. These offers give you a certain amount of points. Most offers do require a payment of some sort, and it seems the more money you pay, the more points you get. It seems that the referral system is free, while the point system might cost some money.

Yea I agree with you on this. I have never believed in those sites that offer "free" products because they are never"free". It is so much easier to just buy it legit.
