    Default 1.1.3 Firmware Update!

Today, Apple released the latest firmware update for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This new firmware adds a few things to the iPhone's Maps app. BUT, the biggest news is that you can now get iPhone apps on your Touch!!! YAY!!........but wait....
To get these iPhone apps, Touch users must pay $20!! With this purchase, you not only get the iPhone apps, but you also get the ability to move the home screen icons around, and bookmark sites as icons on the home screen. What do you all think of this new firmware relsease? Will YOU be updating?
EDIT: Sorry guys, in my poll I originally asked "will you update to 1.1.1?". I obviously meant 1.1.3. Fixed it now.

To be honest im a little surprised that apple is charging $20. I was reading a live blog of MacWorld 2008 and that announcement really stood out for me. The Touch is relatively new, so i would figure any updates so soon would be covered.

The new features are really good!

Locator on google maps, adding lyrics to songs, creating icons for webpages...and most of all re-arranging the home page! But i dont think its worth losing all the 3rd party apps!

How well does the locator on google maps work? I wish that the download was a little cheaper, like $10. $20 just seems a hefty price to pay to use things I can get for free.

i agree, maybe $9.99 would have looked like a much better deal for people.
