Default iPod Touch / iPhone Stylus

The sleek design of the Pogo Stylus features an ultra-light aluminum body with an anodized finish and laser graphics. The foam tip is soft, yet durable and conforms cleanly and precisely to the multi-touch screen. Sized for accuracy, it does away with the awkward typos and misfires common to fingertip-only use. The stylus allows you to answer calls and surf the web all while keeping your hands toasty. Eliminating fingers has the added benefit of keeping the screen free of smudges and grease. Designed to firmly hug the contours of the iPhone and iPod touch, the Pogo Stylus travel clip will keep your accessory secure and close at hand. Click the buttons on the left for details about the stylus, clip, and design materials.

maybe a good idea, but what about the pinch-sizing zoom? That defeats the argument about eliminating smudges. I guess you could double tap, but sometimes that just doesnt cut it... Like reading small text.

And why carry something extra when the iPod/iPhone is already perfectly capable of working without extra equiptment? Just another something to lose.

And yeah, smudges can suck. But seriously, right now, I'm typing on my iPod and if I look at an angle, I see smudges, but straight on? Nope. And my brightness is all the way down.

I'd say someone is trying to create a market for a tool that is absolutely useless.

Besides, iPod/iPhone are way cooler than Palm and what else PDAs because of the fact that you can use your fingers. I would laugh at anyone who pulled out a stylus to answer the phone.

Apple has already thought of these things and the iPod/iPhone are already prepared and ready to go.

    But whatever...

Ya me neither. Just another way for someone to make money. The only thing that this would be good for is doing a lot of typing.

Wouldn't it be good for if you lived in Alaska or somewhere really cold and you had to wear gloves all the time?

Well I say this is pretty useless, like someone already said it defeats the pinch zooming, and for tyoing, would it not take a long time to type?
