    Default os 4 problems

    Hi,
Has anyone had a problem with their Touch being very slow and hanging since putting in the new os4.? I had a hard time installing it to start with and now it just hangs on some of the apps. Any suggestions on what to do?? Maybe restore it again??
    Thanks

I have no problems here with iOS 4 and my 32GB 3G iPod touch, it's al working smoothly.
The update was also going without problems and was fixed in 20 minutes.

    Did you synchronize with iTunes.
Also it is possible that some of the Apps are not working with iOS 4, today I received many updates of the Apps for iOS 4.

    Default OS 4.0 Problems

Hi. My iPod Touch is a 2nd Generation 16 GB version. I've had it for over a year. It's worked great until I upgraded to iOS 4.0 recently. A number of my apps now do not load or simply cause my iPod to crash to the Apple logo. I'd like to turn off whatever memory hogging that's now taking place, but am unsure as to how to do that. On the positive side, my various e-mail accounts work just fine, as do many other apps. (I also keep my apps up to date and in synch with iTunes.) Any suggestions?

    Default Os4

I installed OS4 about a week ago. I have a 3rd gen 32g itouch which I've had for about 10 months. anyway, all my apps seem to be working fine but my e-mail now downloads 2 copies of each email. It only displays 1 copy but it indicates the number of e-mails as double. In order to display the duplicate copies, I have to toggle the setting for organize by thread. Has anyone else had this problem?? Is there a fix or is there a new setting which has to be set?? Heeeeelllppp!!!

Some (old) Apps do not work with iOS 4, then you have to wait till they will make an update for it.

This is the mail app that came with the iTouch and the unit is not that old. It synchs with Outlook.

Reset your iPod, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If that Will not work reset your setting. From the Home screen choose Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. All your preferences are reset, but your data and media are left untouched.

Hi, I've installed the iOS 4 to my iPod Touch and have encountered some problems.

My Calendar is not the same anymore. There are multiple entries of the same event and the birthdays of my Contacts incorrectly appear on my Calendar (right day, wrong month - for example, May 31 birthday appeared on the Calendar as August 31).

Also I've noticed that some pictures on my Photos are blurry but can be corrected if you delete/re-add the picture. If I add more pictures to my Photos, they don't appear on the next sync but after 3 or more syncs.
