Thread: 8gb capacity?

Hi
I got a new 8gb Ipod Touch a few weeks ago, but instead of 8gb cpacity, it has 7.01gb capacity.
Is this right?

Also, on the manufacturers website, it says it can hold 1750 songs, but mine has only 875 and is almost full?

Yes, it is all right, the rest of the capacity is for the operating software.
And about the songs, it depends how big are your songs, normaly the say a song is about 4MB and then You can have about 1750 songs.
But it also depends how many programs, games and movies You have on your iPod touch.
That's why a 32GB or 64GB is recommended, 8GB is the most times to small.
