no is the answer. you can get : - AIM/ICQ/MSN/.Mac (whatever .mac is :S) if you do want those install the app 'apollo'

Yea I know about apollo as well as mobile chat. I just thought that if the SMS app somehow worked, then we could text cell phones from our touch's and receive a text back to the touch. Far fetched thinking though.
