    Default HELP! Jailbreaking conversion question

    Hey there everyone, I have an iPod Touch that is jail"broken" with 1.14...but I want to upgrade to the 2.0 firmware.

    First of all, is 2.0 worth it? I think it is since I am interested in a couple of the new applications.

    Secondly, if I try and download the 2.0 firmware, will that mess up the iPod Touch since I already have it jailbroken?

    Can I jailbreak it after I upgrade to 2.0?

    First of all, welcome to the forum! We are glad that you have joined our community! When you get a chance, take a moment to introduce yourself in our New Members Forum!

    As for your question, YES 2.0 is worth it. The firmware itself has many new features that make it worth upgrading. As for apps, there are MANY apps that available for purchase, as well as many good FREE apps. Upgrading to 2.0 from a Jailbroken iPod is completely fine. I did just that, and have no problems. It IS possible to rejailbreak it after upgrading to 2.0, but you will need to downgrade back to 1.1.4. At this time, there is no jailbreak for 2.0. However, if you are like me, you will not want to jailbreak again after seeing how great 2.0 is!

    2.0 is amazing mate, just what jailbreaking is and MORE. plus its nice to know that u are using official stuff so nothing can go wrong
