    Default Very basic APPs question

    I got 2 free apps through the IPod and then 3 more through my computer. When I synch, the two come to the computer but the three do not go to the IPod. Is it necessary to only get apps through the IPod? If you can get them through iTunes on the computer, how do you get them up to the IPod?
