Thread: how do you play the ipod touch's speakers?

Ok, a lot of people say that the ipod touch has built in speakers. I was wondering, how do you use them?

Yes it has built in speakers, but their used to make the little clicking sounds it makes when you unlock it or type something using the keyboard. The built in speaker doesnt work for playing music.

Im pretty sure theres a hack to make em used for other stuff, but i dont trust hacks..

there aren't any hacks that allow your iPod to play music with the "click" speaker. The speaker doesn't have the frequency response to handle music.. just basic, single note, sounds. I think the Alarm function has more musical sounds, but still no "Music" like bands or anything...

and btw, i LOVE hacks! i don't know why you wouldn't trust them...

ermm beacause if u dont know what ur doing u can mess up your device lol. like if u delete a folder from the root in ssh or somehting...

then you simply restore lol

Depending on where you delete it may not restore it fix your problem.
