    Exclamation Recovery mode keeps failing

Right, today I tried updating my Ipod touch software to version 3.1.3 (not sure, whatever the newest one is). The update failed with an unknown error (2002), so now my ipod touch is stuck in recovery mode. Right, no problem if it weren't that the recovery keeps on failing. it always fails at "checking ipod firmware", giving me an unkown error (6). I tried changing USB-ports, I tried recovering 6 times with the same results. My ipod touch is brand new (as in bought it on friday), so I'm quite annoyed by the fact that it's decided to do that. Apple support was also useless. One thing that I can think of right now that might be the cause: do the US and Europe get different firmware for the ipods? Because I live in Belgium, but I registered at the Itunes store with a free US acoount, socould this have caused it?

Disregard this post, after the 50th attempt it finally worked.
