Thread: Ipod Touch 2G Video Jumps Back

I have a bunch of videos I converted using Videora for the Ipod Touch 2nd generation. The converted videos all play fine on my computer but when I put them on my Ipod and try to play them something weird happens. They play ok until about halfway through (at about 20-something minutes out of 42 minutes total) then the video freezes but audio keeps playing. So there will just be a still picture from wherever the video froze while audio continues playing fine. Also, if I try to just click to a place farther in the video it end sup jumping back to a few minutes before the video freezes then plays like normal until it freezes.

I've tried re-transferring the videos but the same thing happens again (I'm transferring through sharepod if that has anything to do with it). Does anyone know what could cause this? Could something have gone wrong in the conversion process and if so why does it play fine on the computer but not the ipod?

First, did you get the latest software update 3.1.3 for your iPod touch?

If that did not help, then convert your videos with the free program HandBrake, it convert your videos special for the iPod.
